This policy explains how Ryan Salisbury trading as The Efficient Employer (ABN 13982178830) ("we", "us") collects, uses and stores personal information when you use Teamark and theefficientemployer.com. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Account information. Your email address, used for sign-in and account recovery. Teamark uses passwordless authentication, so we never collect or store a password.
Team data you enter. Names, optional photos, voting responses and scores for people on your team. You control this data. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter information about your staff, and for informing them where required.
Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
Technical information. Standard server logs and analytics such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to operate and improve the service.
To provide the service, authenticate you, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, and send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts, account notices). We do not sell personal information. We do not use your team data for advertising.
Application data is stored in Australia (Sydney) with our hosting provider Supabase. Some service providers we use (Lemon Squeezy for payments, Resend for transactional email, Cloudflare for hosting and delivery) may process limited data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with Australian privacy law.
Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare (hosting, domain, email routing), Lemon Squeezy (payments, merchant of record), Resend (transactional email). Each provider only receives the data needed to perform its function.
Teamark stores information about your team members that you and your team enter. As the employer, you are the party deciding what is collected and why. We store and process it on your instructions. Voting responses are aggregated into scores. Individual votes are not shown to team members.
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete team members, teams or your entire account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes your data from the live database. Backup copies are purged in the ordinary course within 30 days.
You can access and correct your account data in the app. For anything you cannot change yourself, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted. No internet service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
